Maximising learning opportunities and outcomes for children in a safe, secure and supportive learning environment.

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year.

Every second year we hold a Carols and Concert Night. One such night was held in 2007, so there will be a similar night in 2009

Christmas Giving Tree

Christmas is a wonderful time of year. It is a season of goodwill and a time for families to spend time together. Most children look forward to receiving gifts on Christmas morning. Unfortunately for some children, Christmas may not be such a wonderful time. For some there may be circumstances that may hinder Christmas celebrations. Some families may also be going through “tough times” and so we would like to do “our bit” to try to ensure that all children receive a Christmas gift. To do this we have set up a Giving Tree in the school foyer. If your family would like to contribute, we ask that you wrap a gift and attach a gift tag indicating whether the gift is for a girl or a boy and of what age range. For example, a gift tag may just state: “Boy 4-6 years old”. The gifts can then be placed under the giving tree and we will have them collected during the last week of school, by local welfare charities, and distributed in time for Christmas.
