Kindergarten Orientation

Our kindergarten transition and orientation program for 2008 is now well and truly over. Our kindergarten student have settled well into their new school environment.

Towards the end of 2009, we will have a program similar to that which operated in 2008. (see below0

Parent Information Afternoon

  • Wednesday, 17th September

 

Orientation Visits

  • Wednesday 12th November ~ 9.15 - 11.15 am

  • Thursday 20th November ~ 9.30 - 10.30 am

  • Tuesday 25th November ~ 9.30 - 10.30 am ~ Year 6 Buddies to be introduced

We look forward to meeting our new kindergarten children and their mums and dads either on one of the visit days or on our Meeting Afternoon

Parent Information Afternoon

Wednesday, 17th September at 4.30 pm in Block B (Infants) Hall

  • ~ Welcome ~ Opening Remarks Mr Pritchard

  • How you can help your child settle into school and other useful information ~ Mrs Narelle Thurlow (kindergarten teacher and assistant principal for 2009)

  • Introduction of school chaplain for 2009 ~ Mr Phil Graham.

  • Kimberly Houliston ~ STLA ~ Reading with your child.

  • P&C Representative ~ Mr Steve Mortomore (president) is unavailable but one of the team will be there to talk about P&C and uniforms

  • ~ Tea, coffee, chat
